Keeping up the posting and submissions takes time and forethought. I think I simply must just let my mind go and say whatever comes to mind.
Well, then, this is the first rose blossom of the year (2008) on my bushes. I've tried many different plantingsof a variety of flowers, bushes, and just greenery in my Arizona gardens, and at least 50% of them have failed, due to the heat and blazing sun. But these beauties have survived and even flourished!
I am learning what survives and won't. I am learning whether to put them in the sun, or in the shade.
No matter, every spring, I try new plants each time. I once said that I was going to make my front yard a semi-jungle. Well, it's slowly getting there!
I have no plan or blue print, I just plant something where I think it'll 'fit in!'
